Founded in 1646, Reading Blue Coat is a leading independent day school of 785 pupils; 705 boys aged 11 – 18 and a further 80 girls in the co-educational sixth form. The School is located on a beautiful 46 acre campus in the village of Sonning, just outside Reading.

An enthusiastic, inspiring, Chemistry Teacher with outstanding subject knowledge is required from September 2021 or January 2022 to teach at all stages of the School. It is desirable that you will also be able to teach some junior Physics classes.
Chemistry and the other sciences are very well resourced and are popular at the School. Results in the department are strong.
It is likely that you will hold a degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline. Applications are welcome from NQTs and unqualified teachers.
