We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and creative teacher of Drama to join our hard-working and successful department. Drama enjoys a strong reputation within the school and the community, with excellent uptake at GCSE and A level. We are really lucky to have a brand new multi-functional hall, designed as a flexible performance space, with tiered seating and impressive lighting, sound and AV equipment. Students achieve consistently impressive examination results in the subject. At Little Heath we are also proud to offer a variety of extra-curricular activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher to join our team.
The person we are seeking will:
- be passionate about Drama and have the desire to share that passion with students;
- be an innovative and inspiring classroom teacher;
- have experience of teaching drama across all key stages, including A-Level;
- be committed to working as part of a team;
- be committed to developing the extra-curricular life of the department;
- be reflective and eager to develop their teaching skills.
Little Heath School is a highly successful comprehensive school (1658 on roll, including 366 in the Sixth Form) situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting to the west of Reading, with good access to road and rail links.
