Do you have a passion for English teaching?

We are looking a for English teacher to join our warm, welcome and high performing community. You will be responsible for implementing and delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for pupils in English. Your duties will range from the preparation of course work, planning of classes and the marking of work handed in.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A graduate in English or equivalent in a related subject with an exemplary teaching record.
  • Clear understanding of the National Curriculum for Literacy at KS2 and into KS3.
  • To have an excellent knowledge of the subject and wider developments in the English.
  • Ability to enthuse and encourage the children in their learning whatever their ability level.
  • An understanding of different learning styles.
  • Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and its application.
