We are seeking to appoint a part-time Teacher of Food Technology. The successful candidate will provide educational and recreational opportunities for pupils of all ages (Years 7 to Sixth Form) to enjoy cooking and learn about nutrition.
They will have responsibility for the Food Technology room and for running cookery clubs for all ages including specialist catering courses such as Leiths and organising and running weekend cooking as part of the weekend activities programme. They may be a qualified Food Technology teacher or can demonstrate an equivalent interest in teaching food and nutrition and experience of working with young people.
4.00pm – 7.30pm on Monday to Thursday. 12.00pm - 5.00pm on Saturdays and 11.00am-12.15pm on Sundays when the pupils are in school (19 weekends per year). Two additional hours per week will be needed for food ordering/deliveries and other departmental administration.
