Description

We are looking for an ambitious and intellectually curious teacher of German who can also teach a further language in either French, Spanish or Russian to join our highly successful and nationally renowned MFL department.

You will be passionate about your experience and interests and will be able to demonstrate courage in your decisions. Above all you will thrive in an environment surrounded by bright students and colleagues.

We welcome applications from those looking to broaden their experience, recently qualified teachers or completely new entrants to the profession but most importantly you must be confident with the opportunity to teach throughout the school, including A Levels.

The school offers a highly competitive salary scale and provides a range of benefits. We have an exceptional induction and professional development programme to support our new colleagues. We have a nurturing and supportive community and a full involvement in the wider life of our school will be a key part of your role.

An application form can be obtained from our website.

For further details or an informal chat please contact Richard Thompson, Head of MFL.

Closing date: Friday 14 October 2022

Haberdashers’ Boys’ School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.

Only registered members can apply for jobs.
