Description

Mainscale/Upper Payscale, Full-time / Permanent • Required from 1st January 2022

Felpham Community College is an 11-18 local authority, mixed comprehensive with 1410 students on roll and a successful sixth form. In March 2019, our one day, short OFSTED inspection confirmed our OFSTED ‘Good’ status originally achieved in January 2016. This is an exciting time to join Felpham following the completion of our £11.5M building project in October 2019, providing outstanding facilities for our students and staff.

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of MFL to join an established and effective team of specialists. The department is well resourced and teachers regularly plan collaboratively to ensure high standards of teaching and learning in French and Spanish for our students.

The successful applicant will be keen to immerse themselves in this stimulating environment and be a creative and effective practitioner. They will be required to have the subject knowledge to teach Spanish and French at KS3, one of the two languages at KS4 and the possibility to teach one language at KS5 would be desirable. A desire to build strong, effective relationships with students and staff to create a cohesive, inclusive and positive school environment is also sought.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 20th October 2021.

We ask that candidates submit their application to jobs@felpham.org.uk as soon as possible as some interviews may take place before the closing date.
