We are seeking an inspirational classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge to join our very successful Modern Foreign Languages Faculty (90% of students were entered for a GCSE in MFL in 2021). The school offers French, German, Mandarin and Spanish to GCSE. The ability to teach French language to A level is preferred. It is desirable that the successful candidate can teach a second language; the candidate’s ability to teach Spanish at least to Key Stage 3 would be preferable. Applications are invited from ITTs as well as more experienced colleagues.

The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school with heritage as a Language College and a strong international ethos, listed in the top ten non-selective schools in Berkshire in 2019. The school has 1250 students on roll including 234 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading. The school received an exceptional Ofsted report in June 2018.
