About the role: Marden Primary Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Apprentice) to join their vibrant team as soon as possible. The successful candidates will undertake a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship. Whether you are a school leaver or more experienced Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant, this programme will offer you the chance to develop your skills and get ahead in your career.
The successful candidates will be good role models for their pupils, acting with honesty and integrity at all times. You’ll take part in team meetings and contribute to planning and supporting class activities. You’ll promote Fundamental British Values through spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and positive behaviours, and above all else you are crucial in contributing to improved pupil progress and development. The actual salary is £7,413 per annum (FTE £10,000), based on 32.5 hours per week, Term Time + 1 week of inset. This role is offered as an 18-month apprenticeship contract and our successful candidates will work towards a nationally-recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, delivered by LAT Apprenticeships.
Future prospects: This apprenticeship could be the start of a very promising career within the wider teaching support remit. Your employer will endeavour to offer further employment following successful performance and completion of the Level 3 course with future opportunities to extend your training with a higher level apprenticeship programme. You’ll receive Continuing Professional Development and you’ll be part of a highly experienced student support team – you’ll be learning from the very best!
