We are searching for a part-time Technician: Expressive Arts to join us week commencing 17 October 2022 or as soon as possible after, on a permanent basis.

We are looking for:

A Technician to provide support for the Expressive Arts Faculty. You will be interested in working with the sound desk and lighting, and have an understanding of audio and lighting functions including installing and connecting microphones, cabling and Bluetooth to ensure that internal and external productions run smoothly. You will be keen to work with and share your knowledge with students looking to gain experience in this area. We are seeking applicants with good organisational ability. Full training is available for the right person.

HOURS: 18 hours pw to be worked over 3 or 4 days, to be agreed to suit the individual and the school. Included within the 18 hours are 5 hours per week to be worked flexibly to support school performances (after school hours and in the evening), term-time only. The dates of the school performances will be provided in advance.

SALARY: £18887.00 - £19264.00 gross pa (£9.79 - £9.99 per hour), pro rata for part-time, term-time. Starting salary equates to £7841.47 gross pa.
