An inspiring and enthusiastic individual is required to join our highly successful and thriving Music department as Visiting Music Teacher – piano. The successful candidate will be required to teach pupils aged 11-18 years from beginner to Diploma standard.
The anticipated initial schedule is one-two days teaching, which, depending on timetable, can be between 6-12 hours per week.
The rate of pay is £34.82 per hour, plus 5.6 weeks holiday pay.
Our Music Department, has around forty full and part-time staff, this comprises seven full-time musicians and over thirty visiting music staff. The Department has an outstanding reputation and is well resourced.
If you have a good degree or diploma in Music, have highly effective teaching skills, the ability to inspire, empower and motivate students to engage with new initiatives with a genuine commitment to putting students first and an enjoyment of working with young people we would welcome your application.
